CalSense’s CS3000 is a commercial 2-wire controller that can manage up to 128 valves along a 7,000-foot cable run, with plant type, head and soil type, exposure, and precipitation rate programmed by station groups. It’s EPA WaterSense certified and built to cut water use—but only when programs are set correctly and monitored over time. With an estimated 8,000–12,000 CS3000 (and legacy) sites in the field, many owners find that the controller’s flexibility also demands expertise to tune and maintain.
